Our geotechnical engineers provide expert geotechnical advice and guidance through every step of the development process with continued support into operations for both the private and commercial sectors. Our services included piling, concept design, slope stability analysis, temp work design. We use state-of-the-art commercial computer software. We have the capability and flexibility to deliver the simplest to the most complex projects.

RETAINING STRUCTURE DESIGN

Where greater steps in elevation occur and slopes are not feasible for reasons of space, a retaining wall keeps the adjacent ground in position, in these cases our team will design retaining walls that can be constructed from different materials and as a permanent or temporary solution, e.g. foundation pits.

FOUNDATION DESIGN

Our highly skilled and experience Geotechnical Engineers, together with leading edge software, allows our team to provide foundation designs for various ground conditions and structure requirements. Our team assess ground conditions and soil parameters, type of structure and its load to design the most suitable foundation for the project.

PILE DESIGN

Larger and more complex buildings may require the use of pile design. Piling is used in areas of soft or weak ground to support the foundations of a superstructure. Piles may be carrying compression, tension or lateral loads or a combination of all three. Our team work with our clients from each stage of the piling process, from the initial investigation through to the close-out report, providing a services that is on time and on budget.

ROAD DESIGN

Our Geotechnical Engineers provide bespoke solutions. Geotechnical Engineering plays an important role in road design. Roads can be designed with different technics, e.g. founded and floating road designs, considering different ground conditions. Lally Chartered Engineers provide road designs for various ground conditions and traffic volume based on the site investigation report and road specific requirements.

EARTHWORKS

Lally Chartered Engineering provide Earthworks for construction of minor projects through to more complex projects. We provide a comprehensive earthworks design that enables the delivery of a successful project.

SLOPE DESIGN

Where greater steps in elevation occur without restrictions regarding space, a sloped embankment is always the most cost-effective solution. Our team provide slope designs for the permanent and temporary use for a braod range of projects including stock piles, dams, retaining bunds, trenches, etc.
