Structural Design

We provide Structural Design and Detailing Services for a wide range of Residential Structures.

We have substantial experience working on a variety of structures alongside Architects, Industrial Designers and Contractors. We strive to produce top quality, cost effective designs within budget and on time.

Our work can range from minor alterations to large commercial builds and can include new builds, renovations, conversions and extensions. Our work is carried out using sophisticated analytical software fully integrated with Revit and AutoCad to produce efficient and detailed designs.

We provide full design and detailing services for a variety of house types. We cover all substructure elements including raft foundations, strip and pad footings, piling, retaining walls, basement structures, ground beams and combined footings. Superstructure design includes all structural steelwork, masonry design, beams and lintel sizing, timber and precast flooring, structural timber roof elements, load bearing studwork.

All structures are designed and detailed to current Irish, British Standard and Eurocode standards and we certify that all work is carried out in accordance with planning conditions.

We issue full structural compliance certificates on completion.

Production of relevant AutoCAD Drawings and Details
Design of Structural Items to relevant standards and Building Regulations
Structural Inspections and Signing Off the Structure as the Design Certifier
Site Visit prior to Detailing to assess Site Conditions
Site Visits throughout the build to ensure work is acceptable, including visit for final sign off
Sketches and Engineering Details as required during the build
Liaising with Contractors as required
Structural Compliance Certification upon completion
